Clinical Supervision & Consultation
Are you a counsellor or therapist looking for supervision that goes beyond the basics — one that challenges you to grow both professionally and personally?
With over 37 years of experience in the mental health field and an Approved Clinical Supervisor designation with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, I bring depth, breadth, and genuine engagement to the supervisory relationship. My work as a therapist, educator, Buddhist meditation practitioner, and researcher informs a supervisory style that is reflective, integrative, and grounded in real-world clinical complexity.
For over 20 years I have provided clinical supervision to Bachelor’s and Master’s level counsellors in agency settings, as well as to practicum students working on their Master’s degree, giving me a well-developed sense of what clinicians need at different stages of their professional development — whether you are just beginning your journey or looking to deepen an established practice.
My background spans trauma and PTSD, addiction and substance use disorders, mental health, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, life changes, men’s issues and spiritual development — giving me a wide clinical lens to help you navigate the cases and questions that matter most in your practice. I work from a trauma-informed perspective and draw on cognitive-behavioural, emotion-focused, and body-focused approaches, as well as EMDR and mindfulness.
I believe good supervision, like good therapy, requires full presence, honesty, and a non-judgmental commitment to your growth. Whether you are working toward registration, seeking to deepen your clinical skills, or navigating the challenges of a complex caseload, I will meet you where you are.
I offer individual and group supervision in person in Cranbrook, BC, and virtually across BC and Canada.
