Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course

This course is for men and women of all ages and physical ability, including people with problems with chronic pain, depression and anxiety, from all walks of life, cultural and religious backgrounds.
The 8 week MBSR course is designed to introduce meditation and body awareness as a way of reducing stress and developing greater balance in your life. The program includes guided instruction in meditation, mindful stretching, group dialogue and homework. I provide written materials and guided audio meditations in the cost of the program.
Participants should be prepared to commit to at least half an hour of daily meditation practice. There is great benefit derived from putting your well-being first that is why this course requires full participation and homework.
For a good introduction to MBSR, read Jon Kabat-Zinn’s book Full Catastrophe Living, readily available online and at most book sellers.
