Mindfulness is a practice of deliberate non-judgemental attention to the moment that helps us develop greater self-awareness, compassion and understanding. Throughout history people have gone into nature as a setting for mindfulness practice. During this 4-day retreat you will learn and practice simple and time-honoured ways of engaging with the natural world to develop mindful awareness. You will leave the retreat feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, and with a greater sense of how you can use nature to develop a greater sense of yourself. The retreat takes place at the Clear Sky Meditation Center near Cranbrook, B.C. The Clear Sky Center is located on 320 acres of wilderness at the foot of the Rocky Mountains and is blessed with an abundance of wildlife, flowers and stunning natural beauty.
